Location US-CT-Hartford | US-MA-Boston | US-MA-Norwell | US-NJ-Parsippany-Troy Hills | US-RI-Providence | US-CT-Rocky Hill | US-NY-Brooklyn Job Details Job ID: 7360 # Positions: 2 Category: Transportation - Traffic & ITS What You’ll Do CHA\'s Traffic and ITS team provides planning, analysis, modeling, and design development to help traffic run smoothly and safely in large US metros. The team covers modal mobility, accessibility, safety, technology, and deployment, handling the entire design development and implementation process. The Sr. Traffic Project Manager works to complete projects within scope, budget, and schedule, while understanding project risks and financial measures. This senior role manages the overall client relationship, addressing technical, financial, or logistical issues, and often leads to a seller/doer dual role. Responsibilities include identifying target markets, developing marketing plans, and communicating updates to clients, management, and project teams. The role also attends monthly project review meetings and helps set visions and strategies for other Project Managers. What You Bring Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master\'s degree preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license required Minimum 15 years\' progressive engineering experience; minimum 8 years of project management experience Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with ability to apply best practices Proficiency with MS Office software required Understands QA/QC procedures and basic business practices as well as engineering laws Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) Familiar with and advocates for company quality control and compliance standards Demonstrates leadership and works well in a collaborative environment Strong fundamentals in specialty areas Active involvement in a professional engineering society/organization preferred Proven ability to lead a team Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and closeout documents Experience managing client relationships, particularly in NY/Port Authority area or New England Ability to interpret client contract requirements Ability to oversee multiple projects Problem-solving skills, discretion, and independent judgment Experience managing project accounting, including budgets, forecasts, and cash management Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred Strong communication skills adaptable to various audiences Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred Ability to travel as needed required Salary Range $160,000 - $180,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
