Site Manager

Position Summary

The Site Manager serves as the operational leader of anassigned Health Care Partners of South Carolina practice site and isresponsible for the oversight and management of day-to-day operations. Workingwith limited supervision from the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and incollaboration with providers and organizational leadership, the Site Manager isresponsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of services, staffaccountability, patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance,and operational performance.

The Site Manager provides direct oversight of front office, clinical support,nursing, referral, care coordination, and administrative staff assigned to thesite. This position promotes a culture of teamwork, accountability,professionalism, and patient-centered care while supporting the organization'smission, strategic initiatives, and operational goals. The Site Manager servesas the primary operational resource for the location and is responsible forensuring consistent implementation of organizational policies, procedures, andstandards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Serves as the primary operational leader for theassigned health center and maintains accountability for the overall performanceof the site.
• Oversees the day-to-day operations of thepractice site to ensure efficient workflow, patient access, customer serviceexcellence, and achievement of organizational goals.
• Provides direct supervision and leadership tofront office, clinical, nursing, referral, care coordination, andadministrative staff assigned to the site.
• Conducts performance evaluations, providescoaching and feedback, addresses employee performance concerns, and promotesstaff accountability.
• Ensures staff compliance with organizationalpolicies, procedures, training requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Works closely with providers and departmentalleadership to support efficient patient flow, quality care, operationaleffectiveness, and positive patient outcomes.
• Monitors staffing schedules, clinic capacity,workflow processes, and operational needs to ensure appropriate coverage andefficient service delivery.
• Oversees implementation of organizationalprograms, initiatives, and operational priorities within the assigned site.
• Participates in quality improvement activitiesand assists with the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation ofperformance improvement initiatives.
• Reviews operational reports, patientsatisfaction data, quality metrics, and performance indicators to identifyopportunities for improvement.
• Identifies operational challenges and developssolutions that improve efficiency, patient experience, employee engagement, andsite performance.
• Assists with budget monitoring, resourcemanagement, and responsible stewardship of organizational assets.
• Coordinates site readiness and complianceefforts related to audits, inspections, surveys, and regulatory reviews.
• Maintains awareness of community resources anddevelops positive working relationships with community partners andstakeholders.
• Participates in leadership meetings, qualityimprovement activities, organizational committees, and strategic initiatives asassigned.
• Serves as a resource for patient concerns,employee concerns, and operational issues while promoting timely resolution andservice excellence.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration,Health Services Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration,Public Administration, or a closely related field required.
• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration(MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or related fieldpreferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership,supervisory, healthcare operations, physician practice management, ambulatorycare, FQHC, or healthcare administration experience preferred.
• Prior experience managing staff and dailyoperations within a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR),practice management systems, scheduling software, and operational reportingpreferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education andprogressively responsible healthcare operations or practice managementexperience may be considered.
• Valid South Carolina driver's license andreliable transportation required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and teamdevelopment skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, physicianpractice management, and patient service excellence.
• Strong organizational and time-management skillswith the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identifytrends, and implement process improvements.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, healthcarecompliance standards, and quality improvement principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, andconflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationshipswith providers, staff, patients, community partners, and organizationalleadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications andElectronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work independently andcollaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintainprofessionalism, and handle confidential information with discretion.
