TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Bridgeport, West Virginia, 26330!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Required to titrate drips. Description: Unit has 18 beds. Staff-to-patient ratio is 1:3. Common diagnoses include post myocardial infarction with sheath pull, acute decompensated heart failure, postoperative vascular cases, gastrointestinal bleeds, and diabetic ketoacidosis. Typical patients are stepdown type. Charge nurses will not have a team under normal circumstances. House supervisors are available. One Patient Care Technician is assigned per shift. Respiratory equipment includes BiPap and Cpap. All patients are on telemetry. Registered Nurses are responsible for reading telemetry strips. Self-scheduling and block scheduling are currently not promised. Weekend requirements are every other weekend. Holiday requirements are on the holiday schedule, equating to about every other holiday. There are no call or standby requirements. Floating may be required as needed. Scrub color is royal, undershirts can be white, royal blue, or black. Unit-specific orientation is provided.
