We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician / Production Coordinator to support our countertop fabrication team. In this role, you will convert field measurements into precise, fabrication-ready drawings and ensure smooth communication between sales and production. This position is critical to ensuring every project is accurate, efficient, and completed to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities - CAD & Production Documentation
- Convert field measurements from DXF file into Auto CAD file for fabrication-ready CAD drawings using Alfa CAM (Park Industries Software) or similar software
- Ensure drawings include accurate dimensions, overhangs, cutouts, seams, and cabinet alignment
- Upload, print, and submit finalized production drawings and labels (SpeedLabels or equivalent)
- Maintain high standards of detail and accuracy to support fabrication and installation teams
- Act as a liaison between sales and production teams
- Communicate clearly and proactively throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and resolve issues early to prevent delays or rework
- Take ownership of assigned projects from start to finish
- Experience with templating and CAD drawing in stone or countertop fabrication (Preferred)
- Proficiency with industry tools such as:
- Moraware
- LT-2D3D Laser Templator
- Speed Label (or similar system)
- Action Flow
- Prodim Proliner
- StoneApp
- Strong math, measurement, and spatial reasoning skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Computer literacy and technical aptitude
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in countertop fabrication or related construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
