Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a Hospital team in Albany, NY as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT procedures for a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center, operate CT equipment, administer contrast materials per physician orders, assist with CT-guided procedures, and support clinical evaluation and patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology school or equivalent (high school +1).
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in New York State.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiography.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
• Ability to perform CT exams on trauma, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, research, and CT-guided procedure patients.
• Experience reading and applying radiation safety code and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Level I Trauma center or academic medical center preferred.
• Experience with advanced CT procedures and contrast administration preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 10:30 to 23:00.
• Mid shift schedule.
