Purchasing Agent
McDugald Steele Landscape Architects and Contractors
Love plants and a good deal? We're looking for a Purchasing Agent who knows their way around plant materials, nurseries, and the horticulture industry -and can confidently negotiate the best quality and pricing.
At McDugald Steele, you'll play a key role in bringing our landscape projects to life by sourcing the right materials, at the right time, from the right vendors. What You'll Bring- Solid knowledge of plant material, botanical names, and nursery standards
- Understanding of horticulture industry specs and quality expectations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Intermediate Excel skills (tracking, organizing, analyzing data)
- Experience with job costing (a plus, not required)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable operating a skid steer (or willing to learn) If you know plants, understand the industry, and enjoy the challenge of sourcing and negotiating-we want to talk to you.
