Parts Clerk

Responsibilities: Assist with managing the daily operations of the parts department in collaboration with the Parts Manager. Order, receive, inspect, and properly stock truck and trailer parts, equipment, and maintenance supplies. Distribute parts to technicians and accurately bill parts to the appropriate repair orders. Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder parts to maintain adequate stock and prevent shortages. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure parts are properly organized and readily accessible. Create, review, and monitor work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Communicate effectively with technicians, vendors, and management regarding parts availability and inventory needs. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications: Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues efficiently. Previous experience with truck, trailer, automotive, or heavy-duty parts is preferred. Experience with inventory management and/or parts management is a plus. Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
