Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystResponsible for providing accurate and timely budgets, financial analysis, and accounting support to the company. The position will also support other departments with financial analysis, daily reporting, and forecasts as needed.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide analytical support for Manufacturing – demand planning, procurement, absorption, freightPrepare and maintain financial models and reports for forecasting and long-range planning of P&L Balance Sheet; and Cash FlowsPrepare monthly headcount reconciliationReport on daily dashboard, KPI's and metrics for various business units across the organizationPrepare & maintain monthly board packages and materials for Senior Management meetingsGather and interpret large volumes of operational data; detect emerging trends and integrate operational intel; develop detective controls and predictive indicatorsAssist with month end close and financial reportingEnsure assigned processes are effective, efficient and properly documentedPerform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as requiredBe a critical part of the leadership team to identify, develop and implement strategies and processes for future-state corporate plansBasic QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to consistently perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience2+ years of experience in financial analysis experience (1-3 preferrable)Must have experience in Microsoft Office Applications (advanced MS-Excel)Experience working with large databases, creating Pivot Tables, and Power BIExperience with multi-unit retail, distribution, manufacturing, and e-Commerce a plusBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics from accredited college or UniversityKnowledge of US GAAPPublic auditing experience is a plusKnowledge of SAGE500 accounting software. In lieu of SAGE500, knowledge of GL module of another major financial system is essential (SAP, Great Plains, Lawson, PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion, Trend, OneStream, etc) is acceptableKnowledge of report writing in VENA Software is a plusExperience with SQL, VBA, Python and R is a plusCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
