St. Vincent's is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network and is the system's second-largest hospital.SummaryThe Manager of Radiology will work under the general supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, responsible for the management of patient care, day-to-day operations and department personnel. As a member of the Diagnostic Imaging management team, assists in the development of department goals, objectives and standards, budget development, preparation and control, quality assurance, patient experience and department education.The Radiology Manager coordinates department activities to include regulatory requirements, equipment quality control/maintenance, and performance improvement. You'll be responsible for hiring, supervising and evaluating team members. Serves as an effective liaison between Diagnostic Imaging staff, leaders, and other department leaders and medical staff.QualificationsGraduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent in related HealthCare fieldMinimum three (3) years clinical experience, preferably two (2) years of Supervisory experienceCurrent certification or registration in a Diagnostic Imaging Modality and Current State of Connecticut Radiologic Technologist LicensureExperience with PACS and digital technologyKnowledge of FDA, DPG, ACR, MQSA and other regulatory standardsContinuous improvement and project managementDemonstrates strong leadership behaviorsWith locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
