Senior Electrical Engineer, PE

Job TitleLead the design of electrical systems including power, lighting, low-voltage signal, and related building systems.Develop and review electrical designs using Revit, AutoCAD, and CAD software.Perform and oversee electrical calculations including service and distribution, conductor sizing, short-circuit coordination, photometric analysis, and energy code compliance.Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams to produce accurate and buildable construction documents.Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely project completion.Collaborate with clients to provide technical guidance on project scope, budgets, schedules, and engineering solutions.Participate in field investigations, construction administration, and resolve technical issues during project execution.Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, perform quality assurance inspections, and troubleshoot field issues.Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project presentations.Mentor junior engineering staff and support technical development within the team.Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, and project requirements.Qualifications and CertificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.Minimum 5 years of relevant building systems design experience after obtaining PE licensure.Proven experience in electrical system design, project management, and construction oversight.Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other CAD software.Strong knowledge of lighting design, power distribution, and applicable building codes.Experience with low-voltage systems including data, security, CCTV, mass notification, and fire alarm coordination.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules and resource allocation.Strong leadership, communication, client management, and collaboration skills.Experience with generators, UPS systems, EV charging infrastructure, photovoltaic systems, or commissioning is preferred.Additional certifications related to electrical safety or project management are a plus.Interest in sustainable and high-performance building design is preferred.BenefitsHealth Insurance401(k)Paid Time OffProfit SharingRelocation AssistanceCareer Development OpportunitiesLeadership and Mentorship ProgramsProfessional Growth OpportunitiesCollaborative Team Environment
