PEDS Registered Respiratory Therapist - Mary Bridge Children's Hospital

Position Summary The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for the delivery of skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. The role requires advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations, including ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation. The position operates independently, with limited supervision, and coordinates with patient care staff, management, physicians, and external health care providers. Requirements Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in Washington Registry eligibility notice to sit for the RRT exam from NBRC required Advanced cardiac life support credential within 90 days of hire (ACLS, NRP, PALS) Health Care Provider level CPR certification Minimum one year of acute care experience (CRT preferred) Position Details FTE: 0.9 Shift: Nights Schedule: Nights - rotating weekends Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, retirement, and paid time off. Pay ranges from $40.83 to $67.48 per hour and is adjusted for experience, skill set, and certifications.
