About the job Entry Level Data Analyst
Job Description
- Development of policies, definitions, standards, and processes for costing data.
- Responsible for managing compliance to policies, definitions, and standards.
- Drive data change to correspond to master data strategies.
- Develop and analyze data quality reports and track areas of non-compliance.
- Collaborate with IT Functional and Technical team members, including BI team, to implement master data initiatives.
- Implement initiatives to further enhance/enrich completeness and value of Master Data.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis is required.
- Bachelor's degree or greater is required; a degree in a technical area is preferred but not required.
- Experience managing data management projects is preferred.
- Technical experience in data analysis with SQL is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on programming experience with Python or R-creating functions.
- Experience in querying and manipulating large data sets using data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and utilizing statistical/mathematical software (e.g. Python, pandas, R, Tableau).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with business users, partners, and team members. Able to lead meetings and present in PowerPoint.
