Blakehurst is seeking Housekeepers to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining the clean and presentable appearance of the Health Center and/or Independent Living Apartments & Common Areas. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Comprehensive Care Unit Performs general housekeeping duties in the Health Center, such as resident rooms, restrooms, beauty shop, offices and all common areas. Follows infection control policies and procedures. Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor. Primary Responsibilities Independent Living Apartments Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, changing bed linen, dusting, trash removal, floor care and other duties as assigned. Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor. Qualifications Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Ability to move 25 pounds. Be ready to work and greet everyone with a smile!!! All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
