Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Lakewood, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report conditions, control access, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and access-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports or logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
