Emergency Veterinarian

Job Description Bulger Veterinary Hospital (BVH) is excited to add another experienced Emergency Veterinarian to our well‑established team! Our busy, 24/7 practice located in Lawrence, MA offers Emergency, General Practice, and Specialty services—allowing for strong collaboration, easy referrals, and gold‑standard medicine for our patients. BVH has expanded into a 16,500 square‑foot practice equipped to provide a full‑service experience for our clients and veterinarians. About the Position This is a full‑time position with an average of 14 shifts per month, including 4 weekend shifts. All scheduled shifts will be in the Emergency Room, focused on receiving or inpatient care. Extra per‑diem shifts in urgent care are an option. An overnight‑only schedule is available (10 shifts per month). Responsibilities Provide emergency veterinary care, including soft‑tissue emergency surgeries, receiving cases, inpatient care, and consults across multiple departments. Qualifications Energetic, personable with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Internship trained or at least 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine. Experience in soft‑tissue emergency surgeries and willingness to work overnights are a plus.
