Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in the area. The role involves providing bedside nursing care, collaborating with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans, and delegating tasks to appropriate team members. The RN will also participate in patient education, discharge planning, and mentorship of new staff. The position requires leadership skills and the ability to adapt to various clinical environments within the hospital setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid state nursing license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, NIHSS certification, 2+ years of ICU experience, open heart experience, ability to float to emergency department and step-down units, comfortable with travel experience, and meeting the minimum qualifications for ICU nursing roles
• Preferred Qualifications: Training and certification in TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN, neuro surgical experience
• Additional Information: The position involves full collaboration with physicians, delegation to ancillary staff, participation in patient and family education, and mentorship of new employees. The role emphasizes leadership, effective communication, and organizational skills to ensure quality patient care.
