The senior manager of data analytics will lead a growing team responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that improve reimbursement performance, optimize operational processes, and ensure compliant, accurate billing across all guardant health services. In this strategic leadership role, you will guide the design and implementation of an analytics strategy, develop business-critical metrics and reporting, and partner closely with reimbursement operations, revenue cycle, product, engineering, and finance. You will mentor a team of analysts while driving a data-centric culture focused on performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Your work will directly support guardant's mission of conquering cancer with data by ensuring that every eligible test is reimbursed fully, accurately, and compliantly.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Leadership & strategy: lead the development of a reimbursement analytics roadmap, including dashboards, automation, predictive models, and business applications.
• Team development & management: directly manage and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance on methodologies, prioritization, and professional growth.
• Analytics, reporting, and insight generation: oversee the creation, automation, and enhancement of dashboards and reports in tableau, salesforce, and internal billing/lab systems.
• Cross-functional collaboration: partner with software engineering, data engineering, and bi teams to enhance data pipelines, improve data availability, and introduce new datasets into analytical workflows.
• Data quality, systems, and governance: develop and monitor controls for data integrity across reimbursement datasets.

Required qualifications include:

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years leading teams or managing cross-functional analytical projects.
• Strong background in healthcare revenue cycle, reimbursement analytics, or related healthcare financial operations.
• Advanced proficiency in excel and tableau, with demonstrated ability to design scalable, automated dashboards.
• Experience with sql, salesforce, and bi/automation tools.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to present insights to executives and operational audiences alike.
