Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT

Overview The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - CT is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, responsive, and reliable delivery of radiology services. This role supports the evaluation and performance of CT procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and customer service. Customers served include patients, medical staff, employees, and regulatory agencies, with priority given to activities that directly impact patient experience and service quality. Responsibilities Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and hospital information in accordance with applicable policies and regulations. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including incident reporting requirements. Perform CT procedures as ordered by referring physicians, following established clinical protocols. Demonstrate and apply appropriate radiation safety practices to protect patients and coworkers. Participate in Radiology Management System processes related to patient imaging procedures. Provide patient education and instructions as required for CT examinations. Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and radiologists to ensure efficient and accurate imaging services. Adhere to the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology when interacting with patients, visitors, employees, and other customers. Follow accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures when performing CT examinations. Perform other related duties as assigned.
