Registered Nurse-Oncology RN

Contracts can be extended. Licensure Current and unrestricted RN nursing license in the state of practice. Experience Two years of experience as an RN in an Oncology Unit in the last two years. Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and other treatments to oncology patients. Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and side effects. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans. Provide emotional support to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Maintain accurate patient medical records. Requirements Valid Illinois RN license. Must show proof of application for IA license before you are cleared to start. Current CPR. Previous experience in oncology nursing. Knowledge of critical care transport, tube feeding, PICU, gastric lavage, catheter care, senior care, ostomy care, sterile processing, phlebotomize, venipuncture is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with compassion and empathy.
