Job Details Job Title: HSE Specialist I Supervisor: Director of HSE Location: RMS Albuquerque – Santa Teresa, NM – Project Jupiter (Data Center) Job Location: Albuquerque, NM 87105 Position Type: Full Time RMS is looking to add an experienced full-time HSE Manager to our growing company. Compensation & Benefits Hourly: $30 to $40 hourly, plus per diem, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits: Health benefits and 401k. Summary The position ensures and promotes Safety First, along with holding safety meetings for the employee(s) at the job site. Maintain customer focus while following all state and federal laws. Follow RMS Cranes, LLC. and our customers’ safety and environmental policies. Responsibilities Communicate safety policies with the customer and RMS Cranes employees before and during job tasks. Perform field audits at customer job sites for proper setup of the crane and equipment. Enter all audits, findings, incidents, investigations, and corrective actions into Ideagen software application. Verify proper rigging and techniques are used during the lift. Audit RMS Crane Operator, Rigger, and Signal Person for company‑issued credentials. Audit the quarterly inspection (slings, shackles, and chains) for each crane. Audit the RMS Crane Driver of the semi‑truck for proper inspection logs and logbooks. Monitor/inspect the crane, semi‑truck, pick‑up trucks, and/or trailers for tire wear and vehicle inspection reports. Perform Crane Operator and Rigging assessments on RMS Cranes employees, record information, and send reports to Branch office. Investigate, interview, and record information on all near‑misses and incidents. Read, interpret, and calculate load percentages using crane load charts and operation manuals. Recognize proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load. Perform other job duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety, crane, or construction operations. AAS or BS in a health and safety related discipline. OSHA 30‑hour Construction certification. OSHA 510 certification. Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills. Able to self‑manage, prioritize, and coordinate multiple daily tasks and work within tight deadlines. Strong phone, tablet, and computer application skills and learning ability. Bilingual preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
