Your Role in Patient Care

• Completing thorough patient evaluations, ordering tests, and creating personalized care strategies
• Identifying and treating both acute and chronic health conditions independently or collaboratively, depending on credentialing
• Providing education to patients and families on wellness, prevention, and managing existing health issues
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments in accordance with your professional scope

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
