Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced midlevel associate to join its Corporate M&A team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of Corporate M&A experience, with a preference for private equity transaction experience. Duties Draft, review, and negotiate merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, and related documents. Manage and close M&A and related transactions. Conduct legal due diligence. Advise clients on general corporate and business matters. Work with representation and warranty insurance underwriting. Requirements Three to five years of Corporate M&A experience. Experience with partnership agreements and joint ventures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the state bar. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
