Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions in a comfortable setting that suits both you and your clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' therapeutic needs and establish tailored treatment plans that address their unique circumstances and goals.
  • Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to promote effective outcomes.
  • Collaborate with fellow therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists to ensure an integrated treatment approach that addresses all aspects of a client’s mental health.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions, treatment goals, and client progress while adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and the organization’s policies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through participation in clinical supervision, workshops, and training sessions to stay current with the latest developments in the field.
  • Contribute to team meetings, sharing insights and strategies that enhance service delivery and improve client care.
  • Practice ethical decision-making and uphold confidentiality standards that protect client information and privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges, including relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. By employing a compassionate and personalized approach, you will lead clients on their journeys to healing, promoting resilience and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must possess an active LMFT license in the state of California.
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in providing substance abuse therapy, is essential.
  • A deep understanding of solution-focused interventions and their application in therapy settings.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are critical for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years’ experience is required, candidates with additional background in specialized areas of family dynamics and substance abuse counseling are highly preferred. Experience utilizing tools such as telehealth platforms for therapy sessions can also be beneficial for this remote position.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
