OUR IDEAL TERRITORY SALES MANAGER

• Valid driver's license
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience
• 3+ years of sales, account management, business development, or territory management experience; industry experience is preferred
• Experience working on a computer, with CRM experience being preferred
• Committed to attendance, punctuality, policy compliance and professionalism
• Knowledge and skills of computer systems and software
• Great interpersonal skills
• Professional writing and presentation skills
• Organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Research and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues
• Ability to develop and implement assigned territory and customer account plan
• Ability to pass the annual motor vehicle report
• Ability to submit itinerary/call and expense reports in a timely manner
• Ability to be available for 24-hour customer support and work a flexible schedule depending on demands in the department or of the customer
• Ability to maintain a vehicle that seats four adults comfortably as well as meeting company standards for cleanliness, safety and insurance compliance

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TERRITORY SALES MANAGER

You'll manage a dynamic territory where relationship-building and business growth go hand in hand. You'll connect with customers, strengthen partnerships, and identify opportunities to expand sales across existing and new accounts. You'll create and execute territory strategies, prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and follow up on opportunities that drive profitability. Throughout the process, you'll coordinate with internal teams, provide product and technical support, maintain detailed account activity, and ensure customers receive the attention and service that keep them returning. Your efforts will directly contribute to territory performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term business growth.
