Radiology Tech

Job Summary Seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a 13‑week assignment. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in the Operating Room, Emergency Room, and for inpatient and outpatient imaging. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure quality imaging, and maintain patient care standards. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols. Operate and maintain X‑ray, fluoroscopy, C‑arms, and O‑Arm equipment. Position patients accurately for imaging studies. Ensure optimal image quality and troubleshoot equipment as needed. Maintain a safe and clean imaging environment for patients and staff. Adhere to radiation safety principles. Chart patient information accurately in the EMR system. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Participate in rotating call duties, including evenings, overnights, and weekends, as required by unit demand. Schedule / Shift Saturday - Monday, 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM (Night Shift traveler) Required Qualifications ARRT (R) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. State‑specific license for Radiology Technologist. License must be in hand at the time of submission. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patient‑centered and patient‑focused approach. Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality imaging. Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Skills Proficiency in performing X‑ray, fluoroscopy, and C‑arm procedures. Experience with GE, OEC 9800 & 9900 C‑arms, and GE 3D C‑arm. Experience with O‑Arm imaging. Ability to work in a high‑volume environment with heavy Operating Room case volume. EMR / Systems Epic McKesson PACS Patient Population Adult and geriatric patients. Unit / Specialty Radiology Department Operating Room (OR) Emergency Room (ER) Outpatient Inpatient X‑ray and Fluoroscopy Floating / On‑Call Will need to work into the rotating call schedule, which includes evenings, overnights, and weekends, to cover OR add‑ons or extremely high volumes.
