Trip Concierge

Europe Express, part of Travelopia, is looking for a passionate Trip Concierge to deliver exceptional, tailor-made travel experiences for our guests. In this customer-focused role, you'll coordinate every detail of a journey, from accommodation and rail travel to sightseeing, dining experiences, and activities, while providing personalized support before, during, and after travel. What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate and confirm all elements of the guest itinerary (accommodation, transport, rail, excursions, dining experiences, and unique activities) with suppliers.
• Anticipate client needs and go the extra mile to curate seamless, memorable journeys that help you impress the guests and exceed their expectations.
• Ensure all bookings are accurate — aiming for 99% accuracy and error-free documentation completed in a timely manner and fully aligned with the guest’s preferences and expectations.
• Communicate with guests prior to travel to answer questions, confirm details, and gather preferences.
• Respond to special requests such as restaurant reservations, in-destination recommendations, and other personalized services.
• Provide frontline support to guests during their trip, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Sales, and Operations) to ensure a cohesive and consistent guest experience.
• Use guest feedback and insights to suggest experience enhancements or process improvements.
• Post-trip, collect feedback and proactively identify actions to elevate future guest experiences.
• Maintain accurate records of guest communications, preferences, and confirmed services.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in travel operations, customer service, or after-sales support, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages (Spanish, French, German, or Italian) are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident using back-office systems, Microsoft Office, and ideally Amadeus or other GDS platforms.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently while collaborating with global teams and stakeholders.
• Flexible to support occasional US stakeholder meetings and participate in a rotational after-hours and weekend on-call schedule.
• Hybrid role based in Barcelona, with office presence of 1 day per week during low season and 2 days per week during high season.
• Monday to Friday, working an 8-hour shift, Participation in a rotational shift after-hours and weekend support schedule (typically 1-2 times per month), with reimbursement provided where applicable.
