Semi-Truck Roadside Assistance Specialist

Job Description Job Description A growing transportation company is expanding its operations team in Chicago. We are looking for a Service Coordinator to remotely manage fleet maintenance and ensure timely handling of repairs, breakdowns, and service-related issues across the U.S. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and dispatch roadside assistance, towing, and repair services for trucks and trailers. * Communicate with drivers, vendors, and service providers to resolve maintenance issues efficiently. * Monitor incoming breakdowns and prioritize urgent situations. * Work with repair shops to obtain estimates, approve repairs, and control costs. * Track repair progress and ensure minimal downtime for the fleet. * Maintain accurate service records and update internal systems. * Collaborate closely with Dispatch and Safety teams to ensure smooth operations. * Ensure compliance with company maintenance standards and procedures. Requirements * Experience in transportation/logistics or fleet maintenance coordination. * Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations. * Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. * Good organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
