About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years in acute care License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Minimum of 1 year current hospital acute care experience Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This position involves working in the operating room. The facility has a total of 408 beds. There are 14 operating rooms, including a hybrid cardiovascular operating room. Staffing includes approximately 60 full-time equivalents. Day shifts will have 14-16 RNs and a similar number of CSTs. Patient ratios are typically 1:1. Standard OR equipment and Stryker video systems are utilized. Experience with Meditech is preferred. Typical procedures performed include angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spinal surgeries. No transplant procedures are performed in this unit. Candidates should have strong communication skills and be adaptable to change. Patient experience is a priority. On-call duties are required from 5 PM to 7 PM one day a week.
