Leading a team of product designers, the full-time Senior Design Manager will define and evolve Mercury's interaction philosophy, focusing on AI-native experiences while collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to create exceptional product quality. Key Responsibilities: Define and evolve Mercury's interaction philosophy with a focus on AI-native, conversational, adaptive, and proactive experiences Set high standards for product quality, guiding teams to understand both functionality and user experience Lead, coach, and develop a team of product designers, fostering an environment for creative risk-taking and exceptional work Required Qualifications: Exceptional product taste with strong judgment on software behavior and user experience Strong point of view on AI-native interfaces and their impact on user interactions Experience in leading and developing product designers while maintaining hands-on involvement in design work Ability to think about interactions as systems, creating reusable ideas that enhance overall user experience Strategic cross-functional partnership skills with Product and Engineering teams
