Registered Nurses for our Emergency Department, home to Hampton Roads’ only Level I Trauma Center. As part of a Level I Trauma Center, you will work alongside experienced emergency medicine providers, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality care when patients need it most. Nurses in this department gain exposure to complex emergency, trauma, cardiac, stroke, critical care, and specialty cases while building advanced clinical skills in a collaborative environment. . Education Requirements Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing required

BSN or MSN preferred

Students completing an accredited nursing program may be considered

Certification/Licensure Requirements Registered Nurse license required

Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nurse license may be considered

Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire

NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, and ACLS preferred

Experience Requirements Prior RN experience preferred

Emergency Department experience preferred

Strong candidates with related acute care, critical care, intermediate care, trauma, cardiac, stroke, or med/surg experience are encouraged to apply

The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
