A small hospital in Willits, CA is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services in a healthcare setting. This contract role is ideal for a Pharmacy professional experienced in dispensing medications, managing prescriptions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions for safety and efficacy
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
• Monitor medication therapy and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current state pharmacy license
• Experience working as a Staff Pharmacist or RX Pharmacist in hospital or clinical settings
• Proficient knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
