Provide advanced imaging services as a CT Tech in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients. Follow all safety and procedural standards to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Follow strict protocols to maintain radiation safety and adhere to infection control standards.
- Assess imaging quality and make necessary adjustments to optimize results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver precise imaging services.
- Document procedures accurately and manage patient data in accordance with hospital policies.
- Hold a valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- Possess at least 1 year of recent experience working as a CT technologist.
- Demonstrate proficiency with multi-slice CT scanners and related imaging software.
- Maintain current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, as per facility needs.
