As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Responder in DALLAS, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.51 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon-Fri 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or security-related concerns. Support cash handling, asset protection, and other sensitive operations by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders, escalation protocols, and reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements: Possess an Armed Guard Card/License. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
