About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: Endovascular experience Vascular service line experience Prefer experience with CSI and Penumbra Description: Minimum experience required is 2 years. First timers are accepted. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Candidates must have endovascular experience, particularly in the vascular service line and EVAR. Experience with CSI and Penumbra is preferred. The patient ratio is 1:1. Candidates should be familiar with Epic or Pyxis systems. OR scrubs will be provided by the facility. Requests for time off should not exceed 7 days. Call requirements include overnight call approximately twice a week and regular day call once a month, totaling around 13-15 days per month. Weekend call shifts are approximately 2 per month. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler must work two of them. Full compliance is required to ensure a timely start. Candidates will undergo a clinical screening to determine fit. References from two supervisory individuals are highly preferred. Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete required labs promptly. Only local candidates are acceptable under the same conditions. Travelers must have completed at least one successful assignment outside of the specified health system to be considered for eligibility. All modules are completed during orientation and vary by specialty.
