Registered Nurse Infusion

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive infusion nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy and other medications, ensuring safe administration and patient comfort. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality treatment and monitor patient responses.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies following established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Insert IVs and perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and safely.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond to adverse reactions promptly.
  
  
• 
  Document all treatments, patient responses, and relevant clinical information thoroughly.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on infusion procedures, post-treatment care, and safety precautions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid New York State RN License.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least two years of Med/Surg chemotherapy infusion experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess proficient IV insertion and phlebotomy skills.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current AHA BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with primary source verification requirements.
