The Practice Ascension Medical Center – Aurora, Illinois The 124-bed facility is a Level II Trauma Center and has an Emergency Department that sees over 40,000 patients annually. AMITA Mercy Medical Center is one of the first hospitals in Illinois, and the first in Kane County, to be an accredited chest pain center.
