Specialization/hands-on experience in development of applications using advanced technologies such as Kafka, Spark and Storm is preferred. Knowledge of configuring/administration of Hadoop and its ecosystem components such as Hive, Pig, Sqoop etc. Experience in importing and exporting data using Sqoop from HDFS to Relational Database Systems and vice-versa. Hands on experience in configuring and working with Flume to load the data from multiple sources directly into HDFS. In depth understanding/knowledge of Hadoop Architecture and various components such as HDFS, Job Tracker, Task Tracker, Name Node, Data Node and MapReduce concepts. 5+ years of experience in leading business process design, business events derivation and associated data objects and entity modeling. 5+ years of experience in driving the enterprise data architecture strategy, methodology and standards that delivers enterprise data model, associated meta model, common business vocabulary and taxonomies. Experience in applying future state data architecture/design concepts such as Data Lake and Big Data to solve real-life problems.
