We are seeking a compassionate and caring Substance Use Specialist (SAIOP Facilitator), (CADC or LCAS-A) to facilitate impactful groups for adults and provide support in our outpatient clinic in Elizabeth City, NC. Your Role in Our Mission As a Substance Use Disorder Specialist (SAIOP Facilitator), (CADC or LCASA), you will provide screening, assessment, treatment planning, IOP coverage, and therapeutic services to adults with substance use needs. This role involves facilitating group therapy, collaborating with clinical teams and referral sources, and supporting clients through aftercare planning and community referrals. The SUD Specialist also ensures accurate documentation, supports crisis intervention, and promotes a safe, therapeutic environment. Services are provided under clinical supervision. Why Join Us? What We’re Looking For Skills: Knowledge of therapeutic practices, group facilitation techniques, as well as problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis. Licensure/Certification: CADC required | Provisional Licensure preferred: LCAS-A 2 years of experience in Substance Use services Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
