Professor of Clinical - Orthopaedics, Pediatrics

Position Overview The University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics, is recruiting a Professor to see pediatric orthopaedic patients at our UHealth location. Responsibilities 80% clinical effort and 20% research and education. Provide patient coverage. Participate in educational conferences, department meetings, scholarly work, and administrative functions associated with the department. Qualifications Florida-licensed M.D., fully trained in orthopaedics and board-certified or board-eligible. Ability to generate sufficient funds to cover professional income practice expenses and contribute to the Department of Orthopaedics each fiscal year. Experience working with multidisciplinary clinical and research teams, teaching, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Capable of working efficiently and independently as part of a collaborative group. Other Information Job status: Full time. Employee type: Faculty-UMMG.
