Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II – Tucson, AZ. RTX Corporation. Location: AZ808: RMS AP Bldg 808 1151 East Hermans Road Building 808, Tucson, AZ 85756 USA. Position type: Onsite. U.S. citizenship required. Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Top Secret) required prior to start date. What You Will Do Reviewing and approving configuration management requests within authority. Conducting technical and administrative assessments. Integrating new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools. Supporting ISSOs and Cybersecurity Managers in creating, reviewing, and updating cybersecurity documentation and other technical writing. Overseeing ISSOs to ensure implementation of policies and procedures as outlined in governing documentation. Intermittently traveling to other Raytheon locations (10‑20%). Qualifications You Must Have Typical requirement: Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years of experience. IAM Level I certification (Security+ or equivalent). Experience in cybersecurity, systems security, or hardening. Experience in information technology and compliance‑based auditing using RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, and/or non‑defense regulations such as FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA. Experience with computer technologies (databases, operating systems, network hardware, software, troubleshooting, electronics). Experience in physical security, policework, investigations, or Border Patrol. Experience in project, program, office, senior administration, or account management. Qualifications We Prefer Experience working in DoD classified operating and/or laboratory environments. Experience with information system security tools such as Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS, etc. Familiarity with implementing government directives and policies derived from NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other regulatory compliance standards. Experience executing Assessment & Authorization processes within the RMF. Experience providing technical security consultation for complex, cross‑domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments. Familiarity with large multi‑facility networks, including Windows and Linux environments. Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs. Familiarity with cyber incident response execution and management.
