Benefits Analyst

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Benefits Analyst in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities Administer and support retirement benefit programs, including eligibility, contributions, distributions, and participant inquiries Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and third‑party administrators to ensure efficient plan operations Assist with compliance activities, audits, regulatory filings, and required reporting Maintain accurate documentation and support internal and external audit requests Develop employee communications and educational materials related to retirement benefits and financial wellness programs Respond to employee questions regarding retirement plan provisions and processes Support retirement‑related projects, system enhancements, vendor implementations, and process improvement initiatives Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance the employee experience Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field 3+ years of experience supporting retirement benefits, employee benefits, HR operations, or a related analytical role Knowledge of retirement plan administration and applicable regulatory requirements Experience working with vendors, audits, compliance processes, and benefit plan reporting Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Compensation and Benefits The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
