Position Overview: Define, launch, and manage end-to-end generative AI programs, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. Collaborate with business units, data science teams, technology leaders, and external vendors to identify use cases, prioritize initiatives, and secure resources. Oversee the planning, development, and deployment of generative AI solutions, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and high-quality outcomes. Help identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with AI implementation, including regulatory compliance, data privacy, and ethical considerations. Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate program success and ensure continuous improvement of generative AI capabilities. Partner with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure AI initiatives meet all relevant regulatory and ethical standards. We support the Single-Family Acquisitions division head and divisional leadership by driving integrated forums to make decisions and avoid silos, including aligning priorities to meet objectives. Your Impact: This individual will provide thought leadership and guidance related to the innovation and concept development of new Generative AI opportunities across the Single-Family Acquisitions Division. The person will be hands-on in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team defining, enhancing, and developing prototypes to explore new ideas. You will work with idea generators to refine concepts, develop high level business requirements, and assess market viability. Additionally, this person will partner with concept sponsors to help position successful concepts for transition to established project channels. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field (Master's Degree preferred) with 12+ years of related experience and 4+ years of management experience 7+ years of program or project management experience, preferably in technology or financial services Strong knowledge of AI/ML technologies, particularly generative AI applications and their business implications Proven ability to manage large, complex programs with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment Experience in regulatory environments and familiarity with compliance requirements in the financial industry Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer management skills Certification in program or project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile) is a plus Experience with AI tools and platforms such as OpenAI, AWS SageMaker, or Google Cloud AI is preferred Understanding of data governance, ethical AI, and model validation is advantageous Familiarity with financial services processes, products, and operations is preferred Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions Keys to Success in this Role: Self-starter that drives and completes assignments Impact-oriented, creative and forward-thinking problem-solver with a willingness and ability to deliver business value quickly and with quality Ability to influence others and gain acceptance of outcomes Establishes relationships across the division to broaden understanding of different functional areas Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to work in a dynamic, constantly evolving business environment Current Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $184,000 - $276,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
