This leadership role supports a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on work-life balance and staff support. You will oversee operations across child, adult, geriatric, and forensic units while helping maintain safe staffing and high-quality patient care.A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role will:Accurately assess patient care needs and support clinical decision-making across unitsEnsure appropriate staffing levels and patient coverage throughout the hospitalProvide leadership, guidance, and clinical support to nursing staffRespond to patient care needs and assist with admissions or intake when neededSupport staff development, coaching, and performance managementEnsure compliance with regulatory standards including TJC, CMS, and state regulationsAssist with scheduling, attendance monitoring, and payroll coordinationPerform direct patient care duties as neededMaintain a safe, therapeutic, and efficient hospital environmentApplicants should have a current RN license in the state of Massachusetts and graduate from an accredited nursing program. Additional requirements include:Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN acceptedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hireACLS certification preferredCPI or Handle With Care certification preferredBehavioral Health or Psychiatric nursing experience preferredLeadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferredStrong communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skillsAbility to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to patient-centered and trauma-informed carePart - Time, Nights 12 hr ShiftsWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
