Description

Westaff has an immediate opening for an Office Assistant for the Lutcher, LA area. This is a long term, temporary assignment.

$13.57 an hour

Monday - Friday, 8-4

Duties: Will be responsible to handle administrative tasks as assigned.

Primarily will work to issue and process purchasing and procurement documents.
Draft and issue memorandums, correspondence and communicate orally and in written form with employees and public as necessary to accomplish daily tasks.
Assist with tracking and monitoring policy requirements.
Attend and assist with monthly Board meeting if needed and/or prepare Board packets and communicate on Director's behalf.
Update spreadsheets and files with current information, some research and preparation of training power points and documents.
