Construction Accounting specialist

```Duties```- Perform various accounting tasks including but not limited to: payroll processing, accrual accounting, tax preparation, and corporate accounting.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.- Assist with financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.- Utilize accounting software to input and track financial data.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

```Qualifications```- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.- Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role.- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial regulations.- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).- Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) is a plus.- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
