Quality Management System Auditor

Job Overview Position: Internal Quality Management System (QMS) AuditorLocation: Tucson, AZ (Onsite)Role Type: U.S. Citizenship required; U.S. government security clearance (DoD Secret) required. Key Responsibilities Plan, conduct, and oversee internal QMS audits across Tucson sites and other Raytheon locations. Lead audit teams: select team members, develop audit plans, conduct opening and closing meetings, and prepare audit reports. Serve as liaison to the Enterprise Audit Team and Raytheon’s Certification Body (NQA) during site certification or recertification audits. Facilitate enterprise audit schedules, logistics, and corrective‑action closure. Perform root‑cause analysis for corrective actions and ensure timely implementation. Travel up to 25% as required for audits. Required Qualifications University degree (or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree). Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry (or 12 years in lieu of a degree). At least 6 years of QMS auditing experience within aerospace. Experience auditing to AS9100 standards. ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent certification. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Aerospace Auditor (AEA) certification. Lead Auditor certification. Experience leading audit teams and working independently. Benefits Competitive salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
