Business Operations Coordinator

Insight Global is hiring a Business Operations Coordinator in Phoenix, AZ for a top Fiber-Optic telecommunications client.
Location: Phoenix, AZ (E Southern Ave)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Onsite: 5 days per week
Pay: Approximately $25–$27/hour, with potential flexibility based on experience
Work type: 6 months, Contract-to-hire (Managers intention is to bring this person on full time!!!)
This position is heavily focused on procurement and accounts payable, specifically managing purchase orders, processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating the workflow between purchasing, vendors, receiving, and payment.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating, managing, and tracking purchase orders
- Receiving and processing invoices
- Matching invoices against purchase orders and received goods/services
- Resolving invoice or purchasing discrepancies
- Coordinating with vendors and internal teams to support payment processing
- Assisting with fleet tracking, safety equipment orders, and other operational needs
What we’re looking for:
- 2–3 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or AP experience
- Hands-on experience creating and managing purchase orders
- Experience processing invoices and resolving discrepancies
- Experience with an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
