This role requires strong organizational skills, technical rigor, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, facilities management, and technology partners.The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in energy management, data analytics, and project coordination, with a track record of delivering accurate, high-quality work in fast-paced environments.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate, and support implementation of low-cost and no-cost Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) across the portfolioCalculate and validate energy savings using established methodologies and standardized templatesSupport validation and documentation of savings with clear, transparent reporting aligned with client sustainability goalsDevelop and maintain accurate project workbooks including scope, costs, savings calculations, and implementation timelinesTarget: Achieve validated annual energy savings through measurable, data-driven initiativesSupport evaluation and implementation of Building Management System (BMS) AI platforms for energy optimizationCoordinate pilot programs and vendor demonstrations, maintaining clear communication between technology vendors, BMS teams, and client stakeholdersDefine and assess "AI-ready" criteria for facilities, identifying appropriate test sitesTrack and report on AI tool performance, optimization opportunities, and energy reduction impactMaintain evaluation matrices and technology assessment documentation with accuracy and completenessLead coordination and submission of utility incentive applications for energy projectsWork with utility providers, engineering teams, and vendors to ensure accurate application data and timely submissionsTrack incentive program requirements, deadlines, and approvalsCoordinate metering installation and verification requirements as needed for incentive complianceMaintain organized records of all incentive applications, approvals, and paymentsManage tracking and reporting of refrigerant emissions, diesel consumption, and related environmental dataProactively identify and escalate refrigerant leaks or anomalies requiring immediate attentionCollaborate with Engineering and EHS teams to implement JLL's refrigerant management program standardsCoordinate with site teams to ensure accurate, timely data entry in Envizi or other tracking platformsSupport digital transformation of emissions and resource tracking processesMaintain accurate, organized project documentation, meeting notes, and status reportsServe as data contact for vendors, providing timely access to utility data, trend data, and system drawingsLeverage available tools (Webex recordings, transcriptions, templates, SharePoint, OneNote) to ensure accuracyPrepare and deliver client-facing presentations and reports with professional quality and technical precisionValidate all data sources and assumptions before sharing information internally or with clientsSupport coordination of emergency response and demand response programs, particularly for critical facilitiesEnsure program requirements are understood and implemented across participating sitesTrack participation, performance, and compliance with program termsWork independently to drive assigned projects forward without reminders, proactively raising issues and communicating statusCollaborate effectively with engineering, facilities, technology, finance, and procurement teamsManage vendor relationships and hold vendors accountable for timely communication clientsSupport knowledge sharing and replication of successful strategies across the portfolioRequired QualificationsEducation & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Energy Management, or related fieldProfessional certifications such as LEED AP, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), or similar credentials preferredExperience5+ years of experience in energy management, building operations, or sustainable operations in commercial real estateDemonstrated experience leading or coordinating energy reduction programs with measurable, validated resultsProven track record managing utility incentive programs from application through approval and paymentExperience with Building Management Systems (BMS), energy metering, and data analytics platformsStrong background in emissions tracking, environmental reporting, and complianceTechnical Skills & KnowledgeStrong proficiency in energy calculations and savings validation methodologies – must demonstrate technical rigor and accuracyExperience with data management platforms (e.g., Envizi, energy dashboards, BMS platforms)Comfortable working with utility data, trend analysis, and energy modelingUnderstanding of HVAC systems, chiller plants, air handling units, and building controlsFamiliarity with AI-enabled energy optimization tools and evaluation frameworksKnowledge of refrigerant
