SoC Memory Interconnect Validation Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the semiconductor industry, is seeking a SoC Memory Interconnect Validation Engineer to join their team. As a SoC Memory Interconnect Validation Engineer, you will be part of the IP Systems Engineering department supporting the validation and development of cutting‑edge processor and graphics systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: SoC Memory Interconnect Validation Engineer Location: Austin, TX What's the Job? Participate in systems design development throughout the entire product lifecycle, from pre‑silicon and emulation to post‑silicon validation and software integration. Lead technical presentations, demonstrating a solid understanding of hardware architecture and expertise in systems design. Collaborate with Design, Software, Tools, and other teams to define testing and debugging methodologies to ensure comprehensive coverage and optimal customer experience for the data fabric layer. Work with Program Leadership to define end‑to‑end plans, identify potential risks, and address concerns during project planning. Isolate and debug issues in northbridge and memory interconnect systems during pre‑silicon, bring‑up, validation, and production phases of S3 products. What's Needed? In-depth knowledge of CPU memory hierarchy systems and computer architecture. Strong understanding of SOC architecture and concepts, including northbridge/southbridge technology. Experience with FPGA and hardware emulation platforms for pre‑silicon debugging. Familiarity with BIOS, OS (Windows/Linux), and driver‑level interactions and common failure points. Excellent communication skills and experience leading technical discussions and process improvements. What's in it for me?
