Tasting Room Support Staff job at Penns Woods Winery. Chadds Ford, PA. This position entails various responsibilities in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, can multi-task, follow instructions with attention to detail and, most importantly, is punctual and reliable. Responsibilities Greeting customers and seating them at their designated table. Organizing table assignments for reservations. Set up for daily operations, wine tastings, and events. Clearing, cleaning and sanitizing tables. Prepping wine and food pairings. Washing dishes and glasses. Sweeping, mopping, and restocking. Misc. housekeeping maintenance such as laundry, cleaning restrooms, etc. Outdoor operations (April - October) including parking setup, moving outdoor tables and chairs, trash removal, etc. Qualifications Written/verbal communication skills. Must be able to understand and accurately follow written and verbal instructions. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift/carry 50 lbs. Reliable form of transportation. Must be accountable, a team player and maintain a positive disposition. Must be able to work weekends and some holidays. Must be over the age of 16 years old.
